From doing this project, I've learned that simple machines can make work easier. With little force, you can make an object four times its weight move. In order to do that you had to use simple machines, which include levers, pulleys, inclined planes, a wheel and axle, and etc. They all either changed the amount of force, the distance, or direction. They all make work easier.
I learned that these machines can help me in everyday life! Not just in school or for a test grade but in my lifetime I can use these methods! I also learned that a prototype doesn't always work the way its suppose to!
From doing this project, I have learned many limitations a machine must have to work. Before doing this project, I did not know that the longer the ramp the easier it is to lift the object 5 cm. I also learned that decorations such as glitter can create a lot of friction which makes it harder to move your care, as my group learned the hard way.
From this project,I learned how everyday objects can relate to the project. For example, like Erika's bike wheel. I learned how simple machines really can make tasks simple when you use at least two, add weight and apply little force. All 6 simple machines make work easier by changing the amount of force, distance,or directon.
During this project i learned there are many simple machines that make work easier in life. I used pulley's and wheels for my project. I had trouble making the can move up the ramp since there were a lot of amount of friction on my project, but i got my project to work.
By doing this project I learned how to make an actual machine that could be useful. I also learned how pulleys work and that they are used for many everyday things. By doing this project I learned the importance of pulleys.

I learned alot in the nift lifiting project i worked har to build my macheine and it worked well even without the pennys that were stolen. I think this is a good way to teach the student.
Abbie and I really enjoyed this project. The best part was when we constructed our simple machine. I learned that simple machines make alot of work easier. Abbie learned that machines can help people in every day life. over all we thought this project as pretty easy but aloot of fun.

I learned that simple machines make work much easier. Pullys help alot with the force and mass in a machine.
