Period 3 - Newton's Scooter Self Reflection and Commentary
Now that you have completed the project, what did you think of it? How did you think your project compared to others? What would you have changed about your project?
I thought this project was pretty cool making. Though, I did have trouble making my vecile going the requried length it need to be in order to cross the finish line. Over all it was pretty fun!
I thought I did a wonderful job with my project because for one thing, the project took up like half the room. Also, I used many decorations such as peacock feathers and glitter for my origami bird (which was used to describe Newton's Third Law).
I really liked the idea of the Newtons Moving scooters project. I think that if Nancy and I worked harder on it we could of done a better job than we did. I think that this is a very good projet to give to kids in the future because its a lot of fun while still learning at the same time.
I liked this project because it was fun to build the project. My project compared to others because every project had an action and reaction and we had to get it to the finish line. I would have changed the description for the action and reaction because I got that wrong.
I think I did good and my car had a good design and use of Newton's Third law. I wish the rubber band hadn't gotten stretched and and frayed. Otherwise, it would've easily crossed the finish line.
I really liked this project. There were so many ways to make the car it was hard to decide which way to make the car. The propeller was the best option because everything was on the car. I did not need a track or any other parts to make the car move. The only thing I would have changed is the way the wheels mounted and it might have gone in a strait line. I think a larger propeller would have made it faster.
I liked the Newton's Scooter project. It was very hands-on and we could do what ever we wanted. I thought my project was a little less creative than others. I would have decorated the actual rocket part of my project more and made my poster more colorful. I like seeing everyone's unique designs.
The Newton's Scooter Project was another fun way to explore physical science. Similar to the boat project, this one involved working with your hands and building something. We were also required to think outisde the box and have fun. It was kind of exciting to come up with a cool idea and exucute on it. The extra credit video was also awesome.
I thought the project was really fun. I liked that I got to see all the difrent scoters that people made. I think our projcet was pretty good. Maybe we could have added wheels, but it was fine without them. The other projects were really cool too. I don't think I would have changed it.
I thought this project was really fun. I liked how we got to build vehicles and make them move without pushing them. I thought my project did pretty well. I wish I would have changed the rubber band though, because the one i had used to present was worn out and didn't work as well as i had wanted it to. But this project was still pretty fun.
The Newton's Scooter Project was a very creative project and I enjoyed doing it. I think me and Alec did an excellent job in planning and building our project and it showed. I think I would of changed the way we planned to make it because we had 2 other failure models. But overall, it was a great project.
i thought this wuld have been a good project for me but i was unable 2 test my project in a timely fashion but i enjoyed my other classmates projects over all this was pretty sweet like shbert icecream.
Paulina A I thought this project was fun. I really liked how we got the chance to build our vehicle. I think my project was pretty good. What I could have changed was the plane. I could have made it out of a lot of other materials. All in all I really enjoyed this project.
I thought this project was OK. The best part of this project was probably building the car. I really don't know how mine compares to others because i was absent when everyone was presenting it so i I would change really anything because i liked how we didn't have to make a bar graph and all that other stuff, i liked how we just had to do a project and a poster.
I liked this project it was fun to do and I think if me and Erica put more effort into it we would have done better, but it was fun to try and figure how to make it.
